Non delivery of vehicle inspite of booking
Had booked a vehicle (8 seater) on 24th Dec scheduled for pickup at UAE Airport Terminal on 24th Dec @ 9 p.m for 1 week (until 1st Jan)
Had obtained a confirmation (attached) however travelling to airport in night spending 160 AED (to and fro) it was realized vehicle was never assigned and gentleman at AVIS airport counter mentions he didnt have my number hence couldn't contact me nor call centre did. My entire 1 week plan went for a toss and had to pay a premium rent to avail it from different travel company
Such a shame and carelessness from global rental company is pathetic and wouldnt never recommend to book from AVIS
I ended up paying premium rent (AED 2000+ extra) - travel to and fro from Dubai (AED 500+) which could have been avoided if i knew same day
